Building the Bridge in South Tampa: Celebrating the Opening of Our Gandy Location

A new restaurant is a new opportunity to become part of a community, create jobs, build relationships, and earn the trust of the people who walk through the doors.

On Thursday, September 10, Bridge Restaurant Group celebrated the opening of Wingstop Store 3202 in South Tampa with a ribbon cutting hosted in partnership with the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

The event brought together Chamber members, community partners, local supporters, and members of the Bridge team to celebrate a new addition to the neighborhood.

A Ribbon Cutting With the People Behind the Growth

The celebration also introduced two leaders helping shape what comes next for Bridge Restaurant Group.

The event began with an introduction to Michelle, Bridge’s new Vice President of Operations. Michelle then introduced Tina, who shared a few words before leading the official ribbon cutting.

Her message was brief, but it captured exactly what Bridge aims to bring to every community where it operates.

“Every time we come into a new community, there's a risk,” Tina shared. “We just try to provide a quality product in a clean restaurant with exceptional customer service. That's always the goal.”

And she made one thing especially clear: those standards are not optional.

That direct approach reflects the accountability behind the Bridge operation. Growth may bring new restaurants, but maintaining the standards that make those restaurants successful is what turns an opening into something built to last.

More Than a Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon cutting marked the official celebration, but the bigger story is what comes next. As Tina put it, the goal is to create opportunities for people in South Tampa while building a restaurant that can become a lasting part of the neighborhood.

For Bridge Restaurant Group, growth is about more than adding locations. It is about developing people, strengthening operations, creating opportunities, and building relationships in the communities where we operate.

Gandy, our Store 3202, is the newest chapter in that work.
