Bridge Restaurant Group is proud to welcome Michelle Armstrong as Vice President of Operations, bringing more than 20 years of multi unit restaurant leadership and a career built around developing people, strengthening operations, and turning opportunities into measurable results.

Michelle’s experience spans some of the most recognized names in the restaurant industry, including Popeyes, Chick fil A, McDonald’s, Jack’s Family Restaurants, and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Throughout her career, she has led teams across multiple markets, supported new restaurant openings, developed training systems, and helped organizations move from challenges to stronger performance.

Her track record speaks to an operator who understands that sustainable growth starts with the fundamentals: strong leaders, clear standards, consistent execution, and teams equipped to succeed.

A Track Record Built on Results

Michelle brings extensive multi unit leadership experience to Bridge. During her more than 10 years with Popeyes, she oversaw 30 restaurants across four states with five District Managers, helping move the organization from a negative net profit environment to positive results in less than six months through focused P&L planning, action plans, operating routines, and leadership support.

She also oversaw eight new store openings, worked closely with contractors and architects, and developed multiple restaurants into Certified Training Restaurants, requiring performance metrics to rank among the top 25 percent of the brand.

Most recently, as Regional Director of Operations for Moe’s Southwest Grill, Michelle led nine locations and two District Leaders across Gainesville and Tallahassee. Within 120 days, market sales were trending up 8.9 percent, while catering sales increased by more than 200 percent. She also helped certify six General Managers, develop 14 Shift Leaders, and proctor 18 ServSafe examinations, with every participant passing.

People Development Is at the Center

For Michelle, operational excellence and people development go hand in hand.

Throughout her career, she has built training programs, strengthened leadership pipelines, coached teams through performance challenges, and created systems designed to help people grow into greater responsibility.

Her approach is hands-on and accountable. She believes leaders should know their numbers, understand their restaurants, coach in the moment, and create the conditions for their teams to succeed.

That philosophy aligns closely with the way Bridge continues to build its organization: develop the people, strengthen the operation, and create pathways for growth.

Building the Next Bridge

Michelle joins Bridge at an exciting point in the company’s growth. As the organization continues expanding its restaurant portfolio and developing its leadership pipeline, her experience in multi unit operations, training, new store openings, performance improvement, and talent development will help strengthen the foundation for what comes next.

Her leadership will support Bridge’s continued focus on operational excellence while helping create stronger leaders and greater opportunities across the organization.

Because growth means more when people grow with it.

Welcome to Bridge, Michelle

We are excited to welcome Michelle to the Bridge family and look forward to the experience, perspective, and leadership she brings to our team.

With Michelle joining the journey, we are continuing to build stronger leaders, stronger restaurants, and greater opportunities across every market we serve.

We’re ready to build what’s next!
