Every leader has a story but few have one like Rikki Vaughn’s. From humble beginnings in Baltimore to becoming a multi-business owner and now Vice President of Operations of Bridge Restaurant Group, Rikki’s path is a testament to what happens when perseverance meets purpose.

At 14, Rikki started working at a local McDonald’s to support himself and his family. By 18, his work ethic and determination had already propelled him into a General Manager role. From there, he climbed the ranks: Area Supervisor, Training Manager, and eventually Vice President of Operations. He was always guided by one belief: success means lifting others as you rise.

But his story didn’t stop there. Rikki earned his GED at 25, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hampton University, and went on to complete his MBA while pursuing his PhD in Public Policy and Administration. Along the way, he built and owned several restaurant brands, led a national burger chain as CEO, and never stopped finding ways to give back to his community.

Now, as he joins Bridge as VP of Operations, Rikki brings not just experience, but a mindset built on resilience, leadership, and people-first values. His journey reflects everything we strive for as a company: growth through integrity, empowerment through opportunity, and connection through purpose.

Rikki’s message to every team member:

“Where you start doesn’t define you. Your mindset does. If I can do it, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.”

Welcome to the Bridge Restaurant Group family, Rikki! We’re excited to keep building, growing, and thriving together.
